SONARPLEX Status
In this section you get status information relating to the SONARPLEX appliance.
Summary
Open the Administration Web Interface > Status > Summary => the following screens opens.
The top part shows the following information:
- System-ID (SysID) of the SONARPLEX appliance
- Time and date of the SONARPLEX appliance
- Version number of the firmware currently running on the SONARPLEX appliance
- Uptime of the SONARPLEX
Click on to restart SONARPLEX appliance. The reboot will take approximately 60 seconds.
Click on to shut down SONARPLEX appliance. Please note that you can only switch the SONARPLEX appliance back on if you have physical access to the device!
Click on to create and download support file archive. Support files can be created automatically on regular base if configured accordingly by Load Configuration (see items "Enable Support File Creation" and "Maximal Number of Support Files").
The undermost part (“Total time on CPU”) indicates the CPU usage of your SONARPLEX appliance in percent.
Monitor
Open the Administration Web Interface > Status > Monitor => the following screens opens.
The top part (“Monitoring process”) shows the following information:
- Number of running processes
- Run time of the monitoring process
- Start time of the monitoring process
Click on to restart the monitoring process.
Click on to stop the monitoring process.
Click on to delete all monitoring state data and force a monitoring reschedule.
All state retention data will be deleted and every host/service check output will turn into 'PENDING' state until next scheduled check.
The undermost part (“Feature usage”) displays the number of configured objects (as configured in the "Setup" menu) in numbers and graphs.
System
Open the Administration Web Interface > Status > System => the following screens opens.
In this menu, the following information is showed:
- “Network” for displaying information regarding the network status.
- “Performance” for displaying information relating to the performance data of the SONARPLEX appliance.
Logs
This part displays information in text form on the system e.g. status of the installation of a patch/hotfix.
Open the Administration Web Interface > Status > Logs and select an entry => the following screens opens.
Select required log file and:
- inspect or filter content
- download the entire file by clicking on the corresponding file
- download and inspect archive file by clicking on the corresponding file
- delete archive file by clicking on
