In contact group you can assign several persons or rather contacts to a host or service, for which they are responsible. All members of that contact group then receive a notification in the event of a fault. However, two contact groups are predefined by the system. They cannot be deleted:
- Contact group "admin (administrators)"
- Contact group "everybody (everybody)"

For creating a new contact group or editing an existing contact groupsone, proceed as follows:
- Open the
> Configuration > Setup > ContactgroupsInsert excerpt _AdminWeb _AdminWeb nopanel true - Click an existing entry to change it or click “Create new contactgroup” to define a new contact group
