SONARPLEX supports detection of flapping hosts and services. Flapping means that services or hosts are changing their status (User Web Interface > Monitoring > Services for service status or User Web Interface > Monitoring > Hosts for host status) too frequently.
For detecting hosts and services flap, proceed as follows:
- Open the Administration Web Interface > Configuration > Advanced > Notification Escalations
- Click an existing entry to change it or click “Create new notification escalation” to define a new notification escalation
