Goals

• Get clarity on identified limitations of Sitewise plugin on Grafana

• Set a roadmap for solutions relevant to the EXA use case

Discussion topics

• Sitewise alarms (Active and historical) in grafana alert panel:

  • Any workaround to use Grafana-managed alerting with Sitewise alarms (integers or strings)?

  • Any workaround to having states other than the Grafana ones ( Firing or Not Firing) e.g: Critical-Warning

• Variable support for querying list of asset properties and drilling down to desired properties:

  • Get Asset Properties List option in dropdown for query type (to allow creation of variable holding all properties of an asset).

  • Dynamic querying of property or properties in a panel based on variables selected:

    • One query: BatchGetAssetPropertyValue with support for dynamic entry (property) addition according to variables.

    • Multiple queries: dynamic creation and removel of queries according to variables selected.

• Value mapping according to quality (e.g if quality is BAD → value is Unknown):
