Backup Configuration
The Backup settings can be accessed at Configuration > System > Backup Configuration and offer the possibility to configure automatic backups.

The following table explains all settings in detail.
The Defaults for these settings differ depending on the underlying device. You can easily reset the defaults by choosing just below the heading Backup Configuration.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Autobackup interval in hours | Interval between each auto backup, auto backup include at minimum the full monitoring configuration. |
Include Performance Data into Autobackup word_to_avoid_word_wrap_bug_confluence | Select to include performance data files into the auto backups. Performance data will be automatically excluded from the auto backup if the backup size exceeds 2 giga bytes. This is done to assure a valid configuration backup at any time, even in cases of low disk space. |
Include Log Files into Autobackup | Select to include all log files into the auto backups. See the note above as this applies to log files too. |
Create Backup upon System Start | Select to force backup creation upon every system start or reboot. |
